To log in to the upgraded MyGSL for the first time, you will need to set up a new password. To do this, simply follow these steps:

You can also view instructions on how to login and change your password on the below downloadable PDF.

Once you are logged in to MyGSL, you can update your details in the 'My Details' section which is located on the left hand side panel of the webpage.

In this area you can also manage your newsletter preferences by choosing which news you would like to receive from us.

Soon you will able to use MyGSL to log your Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

CPD is essential for achieving and maintaining Chartership status. It is recommended that you record at least 90 hours of CPD for each year if you are in full-time employment. A minimum of 30 hours must be from on-the-job-learning.

In the meantime, we encourage you to work offline to record your CPD. Downloadable templates are available below, which you are welcome to use for this. If you need to obtain previous existing records (e.g. to include with a Chartership application) please email chartership@geolsoc.org.uk
